Vacancies & Application

Vacancies arise when a current member of an advisory body resigns or no longer meets the requirements to serve on an advisory body. Up-to-date vacancy information is posted online below and noticed in a variety of outlets including the City's eNews. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be held for future vacancies if none exist at the time the application is received.

If you are interested in applying for a vacancy, please complete the Advisory Body Application(PDF, 201KB) and send it to the City Clerk's Office either by email: cityclerk@albanyca.org or by mail/drop off to Albany City Hall, 1000 San Pablo Avenue, Albany, CA 94706.

Please note, the Housing Advisory Commission and Planning & Zoning Commission have an additional supplemental questionnaire each to complete the application.
