Contract Information. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit proposals from qualified and licensed contractors with PROW construction experience to provide the City with as-needed construction services on various non-emergency repairs and maintenance needs. Services that may be requested are classified into four service categories. Proposals submitted may include one or more service categories at which the applicant is proficient. Submittals do not need to demonstrate proficiency in all listed service categories for consideration.
Services for each scope of work will be provided on a negotiated basis, per on-call service request. For each on-call service request, the Contractor and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost before work begins. The cost of each on-call service request’s scope of work will not exceed $100,000; scopes of work exceeding $100,000 will continue to be formally bid separately. The total Contract Price (i.e. the summation of the on-call service request payments) shall not exceed $300,000.
The City’s usage of the contractor’s services is on an as-needed basis. As needs arise, the City will solicit cost proposals with a detailed scope from the contractors selected in the RFQ process. However, no minimum amount of work is guaranteed under these agreements.
The scope of work may include repairs and replacement in the following service categories. Contractors are not required to perform the services of ALL of the listed categories. Submittals must clearly specify in the Statement of Qualifications which one or more categories of services the applicant intends to provide from the provided list. Lack of experience in categories outside of the applicant’s specified service categories will not be considered in the selection process. Service categories and examples of the type of work that may be requested are described below. Please review PDF for full project details.(PDF, 869KB)
