The candidates above are currently listed in the order that they filed their Candidate Intention Statement (Form 501).
Per California Elections Code, a candidate shall not file nomination papers for more than one municipal office or for the same municipality in the same election.
The order of the candidate names appearing on the ballot for the upcoming General Municipal Election will be determined by a
random drawing held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, 3:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1000 San Pablo Avenue, Albany.
The drawing of the order of candidate names is open to the public.
