Fall into Haiku 2025 poetry program

The City of Albany is once again hosting the Fall into Haiku program. Albany residents, students, and workers are invited to submit up to three original haiku on the theme of “Gratitude in 17 Syllables: Appreciating Our Community", reflecting on the people, places, and moments that make Albany special.

Entries may be submitted from September 15 to October 15, 2025. The contest is open to Albany residents and to anyone who works or attends school in Albany. Approximately 60 haiku will be selected and displayed throughout the City from November 2025 through January 2026, including in parks, along commercial streets, and in residential areas.
