Homeowners and Renters Benefit from Application Assistance Workshop

On May 15, the City hosted a Parcel Tax Exemption & Renter Rebate Application Assistance Workshop at the Senior Center. Staff helped households with information about the Parcel Tax Exemption and Renter Rebate Program and provided one-on-one assistance with completing applications.

It’s not too late to apply!
There are six separate City of Albany parcel taxes. An exemption is available for income eligible homeowners for all six taxes, and a rebate is available for income eligible renters for five of the six taxes. Applications are accepted year-round. You must apply each year. You can learn more about the program and download the application at: www.albanyca.gov/exemptions. Or pick up an application at the Albany Community Center or Senior Center.
