November Election Information

The upcoming Statewide Special Election is on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot to cast their vote.
The last day to register to vote for the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election is October 20, 2025. Register to vote at the California Online Voter Registration website registertovote.ca.gov or with Alameda County acvote.org/voting/register-to-vote. Hard copies of the registration form are available at the Albany Library, 1247 Marin Avenue.
To return your Vote by Mail ballot:
- Send by USPS mail postmarked by November 4, 2025
- Use the 24-hour Vote By Mail Drop Box located right outside of the City Hall entrance on the parking lot side, 1000 San Pablo Avenue (image below)
- Cast your vote at any Alameda County Accessible Vote Center. (Vote Center in Albany: Albany Senior Center - 11/1-11/4)
