The Pavement and Curb Rehabilitation Project – Marin Avenue Phase 2 is a City of Albany public works initiative spanning Marin Avenue from Key Route Boulevard to the city limit at Tulare Avenue. The scope includes pavement resurfacing using HMA milling and inlay, cold in-place recycling, and full-depth HMA installation. Additional improvements include sidewalks, curbs, gutters, curb ramps, storm drain inlets, traffic striping, pavement markings, bollards, traffic signal upgrades, and new Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons. A bid alternate includes intersection street lighting improvements. The estimated construction cost is $5.7 million, with a scheduled duration of 250 working days.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on June 11, 2025, at Albany City Hall. Bidders must hold a valid Class A (General Engineering) California contractor’s license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. All bids must include a 10% bid security. Contract documents are available from BPX Printing & Graphics for $175 per set, and only those who purchase a full set will be included on the official planholder list to receive addenda notifications.
