The City of Albany Concerts in the Park series is a free, family-friendly event held at Memorial Park on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm during the summer. This outdoor concert series showcases a diverse lineup of live music, creating a welcoming space for the community to gather and enjoy performances. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and picnic dinners while enjoying the park’s open spaces.
Wednesday is expected to be unusually warm in Albany, with afternoon temperatures reaching the low 90s and temperatures remaining warm into the early evening. A National Weather Service Heat Advisory will also be in effect. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring plenty of water, stay hydrated throughout the evening, wear lightweight clothing and sun protection, and take breaks from the heat as needed. Please pay particular attention to children, older adults, and others who may be more sensitive to high temperatures. If you begin to feel dizzy, weak, nauseated, or otherwise unwell, move to a cooler area and seek assistance.
