Watershed Management Plan

The City’s Watershed Management Plan serves as the primary framework that the City uses for decisions involving the City’s drainage system. The City is currently in the process of updating its Watershed Management Plan. The Watershed Management Plan update will serve to:

  • Update the inventory of storm drain system assets
  • Assess those assets’ conditions and functionality
  • Update maintenance and inspection plans to restore asset conditions and functionality
  • Develop and prioritize improvement projects to mitigate flooding
  • Identify opportunities for watershed restoration, water quality improvements, runoff reduction, and green infrastructure implementation
  • Identify funding needs and grant opportunities.
WMP Update Status

The Plan update is in progress and the Draft Plan is expected in late 2026.
