New Street Banners in Albany

New street banners have been installed to decorate our streets and celebrate our vibrant community. Take a look at these artfully created banners adorning San Pablo Avenue, Solano Avenue, and Buchanan Street. These banners show different ways the community can spend time outdoors and enjoy Albany. Whether biking on the Ohlone Greenway, taking a hike on Albany Hill, having a bite to eat at a local restaurant, or enjoying a concert at Memorial Park, there are so many fun ways to enjoy Albany this Summer!

About the Artist:

This set of banners was designed by Lindsay Stripling, lindsaystripling.com. Stripling is a San Francisco–based artist and illustrator. Currently, she works as an adjunct professor of illustration at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She likes to keep things playful and explores themes of nature, time, memory, community and psychology.
