This Saturday, September 26th from 2-4 p.m., the City of Albany is partnering with Nomi Tea (1475 Solano Avenue) to give one free drink to the first 40 customers who bring their own reusable cups. Cups must be clean and at least 24 oz. Mugs, bottles, tumblers, even used Nomi cups, anything works!
This event is part of the City's outreach campaign for the Sustainable Foodware Ordinance. Restaurants are now required to charge 25 cents for disposable cups, incentivizing customers to bring their own cups or dine in and use the restaurant's reusable cups. You can bring your own cup for all kinds of drinks as long as your cup is clean and appropriate for the drink. Give it a try this Saturday at Nomi and enjoy a free drink!
