This Saturday, October 17th from 12-2 p.m., the City of Albany is partnering with Tay Tah Cafe (1182 Solano Ave) to give one free drink (up to $7) to the first 40 customers who bring their own reusable cups. Cups must be clean and at least 16 oz. Mugs, bottles, tumblers, anything works!
This event is part of the City's outreach campaign for the Sustainable Foodware Ordinance. Restaurants are now required to charge 25 cents for disposable cups, incentivizing customers to bring their own cups or dine in and use the restaurant's reusable cups. You can bring your own cup for all kinds of drinks as long as your cup is clean and appropriate for the drink. Give it a try this Saturday at Tay Tah Cafe and enjoy a free drink!
