Phase 2 Nears Completion as Streetlight and Signal Work Continues

Street paving of Marin Ave between Pomona Ave and Ventura Ave occurred between April 6 and April 17. Thank you for your patience during construction. The paving work is almost done, with only the finishing touches remaining.

This paving was part of the larger Marin Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project (Phase 2) to improve travel, pedestrian crossings, drainage, and add new intersection lighting. 

See the video for a glimpse of the work that went into the paving of the street. With paving work nearly completed, the project continues to move forward on streetlight installations and traffic signal upgrades.
